The 1inch Foundation funds projects and initiatives that drive sustainable growth of the 1inch ecosystem, including community engagement, protocol integrations, research & analytics, education and events.

Who is eligible to apply for a foundation grant?

Developers, teams, or individuals working on tools, products, or content that benefit the 1inch ecosystem are eligible — as long as they comply with regulatory restrictions.

Are grants global and are there regional restrictions?

Yes, grants are global in principle, but regional or jurisdictional exclusions may apply.

Does the foundation take IP rights or equity in funded projects?

No, every contribution should be left as open source for the benefit of the 1inch community; grants are typically non-dilutive funding meant to support independent work.

How are grants paid out and in which currencies?
